Took a Nap

Took a nap tonite-was tired & had a sinus headache. Woke up in a bad mood! Thought I'd be HAPPY when I woke up! So I got up, did the dishes. Felt better once I sat down with Jim to watch Big Love.

So glad Big Love was back tonite!! I love that show. If I had to pick someone I'm like, it would be Margene. Sweet, sometimes meek-but then again she's pretty strong, wishes others saw her as stronger/smarter/more responsible.

Allergies kicking my BUTT! Have to keep the AC on tonite. Not hot out, but the cold helps me breathe.

Bought a new purse at Walmart. Its cute...black, kinda a nylon material & like a small backpack. I like it because there is a neat flap in the front that I can throw my cell phone in. Will also be good for vacations-lots of room in there.

Blurgh-made up by Tina Fey on 30 Rock...just a great word to use when frustrated.
Frick-used by Elliot on Scrubs...instead of saying the "F Word"

I absolutely love Aidan Quinn. I can't find many Avatar/Icons of him & this is a really great one of him.

Nothing terribly exciting!

I need to get to bed...its 2am now.

I had off today to attend to some issues with the car accident I had in 2004. Went a lot better than I had expected. My lawyer is great. We talked tons about what was going to happen, possible outcomes-how to handle those out comes. Then he chatted with me about nothing. Talked about movies, travel, vacations. Great guy-really puts me at ease.

We got our vacation pics back-they look great! Jim put them in the photo album already. Gotta show the girls at work.

I'm sad...The Riches come to an end for the season this Monday. Now I have to wait until next March to see it again!! FX always does that...runs their shows on a yearly basis...like HBO.

On the up side...Big Love is coming back on soon. I love Big Love. My favorite character is Margene. I'm just like Margene-in the way that you know your role in life, but yet you don't feel comfortable in it-maybe thinking that sooner or later someone is going to come along & say "Hey! You are a pretender!!"-when realistically its not going to happen, but you still feel like it is. Does that make sense??

I've come to realize that I am much stronger mentally/emotionally than I thought previously. Its a liberating feeling...but yet so odd. Its only since April that I've come to this conclusion. I feel more powerful...like I have a voice now that I never used before. Its weird to stand up to people/things you never thought you could or would stand up to...but it feels good. You are stronger than you know...so stand up for yourself!!!

I'm knitting my oldest sister a scarf. Its coming along good. Its brown. I don't like brown...so boring & drab, but that's what she wears...brown & black. She didn't want a pretty colored scarf like the one I made myself...light & dark purple mixed.

Ok...seriously...need sleep!!! I'm off to bed...maybe I'll have a nice dream about Aidan Quinn!! A girl can hope-right???

Sick Weekend

Felt like crap today! At first I thought it was a tummy bug-had horrible pain last nite in my abdomen. Then thought it was a bladder infection. The pain is gone, but I still don't feel 100%. I think its because I haven't been minding my diet as I should.

Let me backtrack a litte...on 2/21 I had my gall-bladder out. I was getting SUPER sick from it-as I couldn't tolerate fats at all. So I was on a fat free diet the month before the gall bladder came out. Then after that I did good watching my diet. Then my grandma got sick about a month later (& passed away a few weeks later). Our lives were in such upheaval as I was staying with my family at my grandma's house to help out. My diet was HORRIBLE as we were eating out every nite. Needless to say my diet didn't get better.

So today...sunday...I just loafed about the house, rested, napped. I had a ton of raw veggies, cereal, fruit, water, juice all day. I feel much better, but I am still tired. So I think its a lot to do with diet.

Can't wait...5 days till we start our vacation!!!!
